Does the DEXCOM G5 work if you’re on a pump ?
Currently using the Accu-Chek Insight Insulin Pump System

Also play rugby, so have to detach the pump and put a cap on the cannula when training and playing matches. Is this an option with the DEXCOM G5.

Hi Richard. Yes you can use the Dexcom G5, if you are using a pump. They are 2 totally separate devices. I’d suggest joining the Dexcom groups on Facebook I’m sure they’d be able to give you more information regarding how to keep Dexcom secure when playing Rugby.
