Children With Type 1 Diabetes is here to provide support and information to parents of children diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
It is also our mission to raise awareness of this autoimmune condition.
For parents, by parents, we will be sharing our own experiences of living with a child with Type 1 along the way. Sharing what we have learnt to help others in a similar situation.
We will shortly be providing a support system to parents also. We know how hard it can be and sometimes you just need to speak to someone who understands. Unfortunately the only people that truly understand the everyday struggles are other parents living with a child who has Type 1 Diabetes. We are hoping to launch a buddy system to allow parents to meet other parents in their local area, we are also hoping to provide telephone support. Sometimes you just need to rant to someone who understands.
We will be launching an Events page shortly listing local Type 1 Diabetes events.
