How long has your child been using the Cellnovo for?

2 years.

Describe briefly what features you particularly like about the Cellnovo Insulin Pump.

That it combines BG testing, though the integrated BG meter and insulin delivery.

Are there any features that you would like to see added to this pump?

The ability to respond to CGM, or input data manually.

Is there anything you don’t like about this pump?

When it works it works beautifully; we have simply had too many glitches, problems with insulin cartridges, pumps that cease to work, and so on – giving the overall feeling that the technology isn’t fully ready. We’ve lost count of the number of pumps we’ve been delivered; on the plus side, customer service have generally been excellent, but would be wary of signing up for Cellnovo until it is much more established.

If you have used another brand of Insulin Pump previously, can you briefly outline how your current pump compares to your previous pumps?

It’s more intuitive than the Medtronic in many ways; simply less reliable.

Describe briefly what features you particularly like about the Cellnovo Insulin Pump.

It’s a Patch pump; Discreet; Removable; Handset is like a smartphone with apps and easy for my daughter to use and remote bolus; I get alerted to her BG readings on my phone and can log into the cloud from work to see activity

Are there any features that you would like to see added to this pump?

Imagine if it was all automated like a closed loop!!! But for now would settle for CGM as that would be one less thing for my daughter to carry around.

Is there anything you don’t like about this pump?

Used to get stressed by early technical issues but the company have been great listening to feedback, improving product software and recently released a new handset.

Would you choose this pump again? Yes, No, Maybe

It’s a patch pump with no tubing. Handset. It can be removed for sport.

Are there any features that you would like to see added to this pump?

Cgm integration.

Is there anything you don’t like about this pump?

Filling insulin cartridge.
